In today's information security environment, the need to effectively administer the Domain Name System, is greater than ever. This course will introduce you to the concepts and tools that are required to keep your DNS implementation working efficiently, and securely. In addition to this course introduction, there are two lessons and a course conclusion. The first lesson, Troubleshooting DNS Failure, explains the more common troubleshooting scenarios, troubleshooting tools, and ways of approaching DNS failure. The second lesson, Maintaining Performance and Security, delves into DNS security vulnerabilities, how TSIG and DNSSEC can be used to provide security, and DNSSEC troubleshooting tools. This lesson also explains near-term changes to DNS within DoD. The course conclusion provides a summary of lesson topics and objectives. Select each highlighted lesson to explore its objectives and topics. Select the flashing forward arrow to continue. </Txt>
