<Txt frameNbr="1"><![CDATA[The DoD and the United States Government have placed special trust in you, as a senior leader, to lead your organization in achieving its mission and to protect that mission from all that threatens it, including cyber attacks. As a senior leader, you have special responsibilities related to cybersecurity. You are bound by the law, enforcing policy even when you do not agree with it. You are a role model, fostering an organizational culture of compliance or noncompliance with the cybersecurity and risk management processes, policies, and regulations you implement and enforce. And as a senior leader, you are not immune from attack yourself. In fact, you and your family are especially appealing targets because of your potential access to sensitive and classified information, because of your profile, and because of your impact on the mission. Remember, good security does not come at the expense of the mission; it's not a zero-sum game. Cybersecurity is an investment that advances the mission. Ensure that personnel in your organization comply with cybersecurity policies. It's a matter of law. It's a matter of security. Practice good cybersecurity when you use both DoD and your personal networks and devices. It's a matter of integrity. It's a matter of ethics. Know what to look for to protect yourself, your family, and the mission. Be an example and ensure that your staff does the same when they act on your behalf. It's a matter of life. It's a matter of mission. Welcome to Mission Assurance for Senior Leaders. ]]></Txt>
