Introduction
If you are using the CD-ROM version of this Web-based training, the Flash player will not be able to access the training unless you have an Internet connection and you add the CD-ROM file path as a "trusted" site to the Flash Security Settings.

Security Setting Instructions
To fix the problem experienced with the IE browsers not playing Flash-based Web training, the Flash Security Settings that must be configured through the Adobe/Macromedia Flash Website.
Select this link or the image below to begin. The instructions are continued below the graphic.
Configuration instructions:
- Select the above image to start the security settings manager at the Adobe/Macromedia Flash Website.
- Select "Global Security Settings Panel."
- Select the green "Always allow" checkmark radio button in the middle.
- Select the "Edit locations..." drop-down box and select "Add location..."
- In the text box that appears below "Trust this location:", enter the location of the CD-ROM drives (example: D:\), local system, or server areas that you need to add as trusted locations to play the Flash Web-based training.
- Select the "Confirm" button.
- The new trusted locations are listed in the window.
- Test to ensure the changes are permanent by closing the browser window, then reopen it, and follow instructions 1 & 2 above to CONFIRM the trusted sites are there (particularly the CD-ROM drive letter from which the CD is playing).
